London Mayor, Boris Johnson has a new environmental program for London which includes asking developers to add roof gardens to many of London’s buildings.

Changes to planning regulations should it more difficult for property developers to buy back gardens to use as building plots.

Boris also has plans for the creation of over two thousand new allotments in the hope that people will start to grow their own food.

His vision includes a proposal for the development of bio-degradable chewing gum, the disposal of which from London streets is a major clean up and financial headache.
