Catering Firm Bans Fish From Menu

Contract caterers, Compass Group, have banned the use of sixty nine species of fish due to concerns of over fishing.
The company provides food at 6,500 restaurants across the UK including Proctor & Gamble, Bristol Zoo, Chelsea Football Club and various schools.
Banned species include certain varieties of tuna, skate, plaice, tiger prawns, salmon and lobster.

Boris Johnsons Green Plans for London

London Mayor, Boris Johnson has a new environmental program for London which includes asking developers to add roof gardens to many of London’s buildings.
Changes to planning regulations should it more difficult for property developers to buy back gardens to use as building plots.

Nike Plans to Stop Using Amazon Leather

After Greenpeace ‘outed’ Nike’s contribution to the destruction of the Amazon Rain Forest, Nike have announced new standards for stopping the use of Amazon leather in its shoes.

Ex MOD PC’s on Ghana E-Waste Tip

Britain Looking to be Electric Car Producing Capital of Europe

Nissan have announced plans to build a new factory in Sunderland dedicated to the production of batteries for electric cars. Up to 350 new jobs should be created.
