Goodbye Antarctica
According to new research, the Pine Island glacier in Antarctica is thinning four times faster than it was ten years ago.
The glacier has now lowered by as much as 90m since 1994. This is not good news when it comes to sea levels. And following this
information, it is now estimated that the glacier will only last another 100 years.
When statistics such as these are released, it is a huge worry. But still, we are not doing enough to stop these things from happening.
It begs the question; what will it take to make us wake up and smell the coffee? Our planet is in need of emergency treatment.
